Default DM-Linkstation - Single Weapon Gameplay

    Name:
    DM-Linkstation
    Version:
    1.1 (.ini data fixed)
    Compatibility:
    Titan Pack+
    Description:
With the development of compound power technologies, Liandri was able to further its operations to areas previously untouched by traditional mining methods. Remote refueling outposts such as this one, operate without the need for any significant maintenance, and allow skeleton-crewed atmosphere harvesters to range from one station to the next, refueling as they hit their former maximum distances. A single-weapon tournament bracket was considered but the stations are more commonly used as a way to forget about convicts, with the promise of a pardon if they can rack up a thousand kills, and convince a passing freighter to allow these weary mass murderers on board.
    Comments:
A map for a concept map pack. The theme was one weapon per map, with a fitting aesthetic backstory. This was my contribution for the Link Gun - A remote vehicle refueling station on a gaseous planet. This was finished a long time ago, but unreleased while the rest of the pack materialized. I really like the concept and may release a full pack along the same theme. It was also my first attempt at a smaller environment, and while simple, I like how it plays. Enjoyable ranges for the gun, and TDM has the bonus tactics of stacking power. Any feedback is appreciated.

Looks like an interesting map, and I definitely do like the idea of single-weapon maps... as long as it's not a single cube map with a redeemer

Anyway, this has also been mirrored on Mapraider's three mirrors:

By the way, I grabbed some of your other screenshots from DeviantArt since you only posted two of them here. If that's not okay, or you'd like to replace them, just let me know or sign up for an account on the site and I'll assign the map to you so you can edit them as you'd like.

Edit: The link above will automatically redirect you to the updated v1.1, or you can go to it directly.

    Cool good map

Wow, crazy green stuff everywhere and pretty purple, green and orange lights......cool rotating skybox and don't fall. Crazy fog activation and only one weapon......guess which one? I'd say good weapon placement, but um....good item placement anyway. Interesting lowG map with decent gameplay and good bots. Neat concept map and fun to play (until I ran out of link) and definitely worth the download.

Missed this one before, screens look slick ..

Not too much into single weapon maps ..... <except for maybe rocket arena> this one does look promising.

    Thx for your efforts DL.
