It could go longer.
EDIT: Also, cool idea Pandut. =) Goes along well with the Lykonar. For the record, though, they are no longer a specific branch of Kantus monks; The Lykonar are, for all intents and purposes, dead. They live in small clusters, called cells, and work for the queen until their body dies and returns to their souls in the afterlife.
Lykonar burials, the ceremonies where a Kantus becomes a ghost, are elaborate celebrations of the monk's life work, culminating in their final promotion.
I guess I would say that, in operation, they're like Spectres from Mass Effect. They tend not to be seen or heard, even by Locust, but when they are, people listen to them and are often in awe of their presence, as it is rare. They leave religion altogether and dedicate themselves to the physical. They are, of course, rumore to have mystical powers. These vary from Lykonar to Lykonar, but are usually exaggerated to strike fear and obedience into drones and such.
If powerful Inquisitors used bodyguards, they would likely use one Lykonar each. They are dedicated to their mission absolutely, and fear no death, since they have already met it.
