Default New DVD! Unreal Development Kit 2 - Creating Cinematics & Environmental Effects

We released a new DVD, thanks for everyones support!!

    DVD Description:
Back by popular demand, Sjoerd “Hourences” De Jong builds upon the information taught in his first DVD (An Introduction and Application) by creating an entire in-game cinematic. Sjoerd starts with a custom existing level and adds rain, wind, thunder, lightning, splashes, puddles, and even plants that react to wind in order to bring the environment to life. From there he goes through adding a character to the scene, adding multiple cameras, triggering a lighting strike, creating an electrifying effect, creating a fire, blowing off a small door and finally setting everything up in kismet/matinee for the final cinematic.

You will also learn from an Unreal Master exactly how to develop your own workflow and start making amazing cinematics inside UDK right now.

I just saw all of the DVD packs for $550...probably worth it in the long run if I was serious, but man is that expensive. I might be interested in the first UDK Development Kit however. The introduction video looks really good and the whole package looks real professional.
    I'll learn as I go.
How's that working out for you?
    Not so hot.

Thanks, dont forget the streaming options for those on a tight budget. We put a lot of effort in that to make sure everyone has an opportunity to learn

It will depend on how well this one does but I really hope so. Personally I love Sjoerd's videos and always learn so much. It has to be worth it financially though. Stay tuned
