Amazon.co.uk. A guy was selling it from his own mint collection. He sent me pics so I could see what I was buying, although since I'm an opener, I'm not too concerned on packaging. Recieved it this morning, so I'm pretty happy at the moment.

I hear you man. The prices can get pretty high. I got my first one for £15 at their release, but last year, it became the target of my disgruntled Girlfriends tantrum, so I've always been on the lookout for a replacement. Glad I finally got one.

Just got a "Headshot" locust drone figure off ebay however when I opened the package one of the blood and brain splatter pieces was broken off, kinda disapointing but I just super glued it back on. Also does the "headshot" drone's right arm have any articulation at all? Doesn't feel like it and I don't want to snap it off.

Also just got a hoffman figure and micro fiber crimson omen blanket from BigBadToyStore. On a sidenote they have very nice packaging. I also pre-ordered the random 24 pack of Heroflix characters.

Patiently waiting for my Epic Marcus Fenix bust from Triforce probably sometime late June. I need to buy or have a display case built for all my gears stuff lol, everything i look for is soo expensive tho. Anybody know of any good nice cheap display cases?

About the "Headshot Drone" I don't believe it has any articulation on the arm except for the wrist rotation.

Hey I've just recently started collecting gears figs and I know I'm late on starter but I'm hoping to get as many as I can, not I don't really care if I can't get ahold of any of the earlier figs as I prefer the new Marcus, Dom and Baird figures that are to be released in series 5 and the gears of war 3 figs.

Id just go with whatever one you like the most/can afford. All personal preference.

I for one am collecting them according to series. Unless i see a random figure. So im starting at series 1 and will slowly work to series 5.

Why say something like that? There is a possibility that the eBay seller is false however it has been shipped has a tracking number and the seller has pictures in the listing taken 15 may which show the back and front of the packages. ( not previously release). I have no way of knowing for sure tilthey arrive ( usually takes about 2 weeks). But I have no reason to doubt the seller.

Guys, the figures are made in China/Asia, so it makes sense that they are available there first, as everywhere else requires an actual boat/plane to get them to each country. I checked out the Auction, and it seems legit enough, like I said, it's because they're literally coming direct from the factory.

The helmets (Sentinel has the helmet). Even the guard isn't technically correct, as it too should have a helmet (although it is different from the Sentinel helm)

I've always loved Gears, but never really collected anything from it. I have the basic edition of the first two games (actually, just rebought the second in the triple pack), but have the limited edition pre-ordered from Best Buy. I also have some COG tags ordered from Think Geek. I would love to get the main squad in action figure form, but I'm thinking I'll wait till the new sculpts are released. I just wish I knew exactly when they will be released.

So with the recent announcement of the NECA Retro Lancer, I now want to buy the NECA Lancer so that I have both weapons. I found that NECA sells items on Amazon and they have it for $200. Has anyone ordered from NECA on Amazon before? Seems like it's the cheapest price and I think it's brand new.

Last week i tagged along with my friend to a local comic book store. While he was looking through bins i decided to ask if they had any Gears of War stuff. They had a couple copies of the Book in which collects the first 6 comic issues. At first i didnt really want it, but figured since i plan on keeping all my comics unopened i mine as well snatch it up to read. And i did just that

I also added my Retro Lancer Replica to my Epic Edition pre-order at gamestop!

Bought that a few weeks back as the comics are impossibly difficult to find over here in the UK, really enjoyed the first six issues. I'll be getting volume 2 after I've finished Jacinto's Remnant I think, which I also just bought.
