latest things I bought were a Bioworld gears backpack, and the jace stratton figure.

I ordered one each of the carmine shirts, and my card was charged for them, but NECA says that the transaction was declined. So I dont know if Ill get them or not, but someone is gonna give my my $45 back.

Just got the Locust Hive Box Set and a Series V COG soldier last weekend. I really like the Series V gear's improved articulation, I wish Neca would've used these new hip joints from the start. Some of the older figures like the Series 2's Dom and Baird would've definitely needed those.

The Hive Set was a bit disappointing due to the lack of variation in torso and leg parts design. Still cool figures, though.

A Series III COG soldier should arrive here saturday at the latest.

True that, around where I live they've got the TRU exclusive Marcus & Dom set with the golden lancer for € 30 - 40 which would be about $ 40 - 50. As I said, for both TRU figures, not just Marcus.

Well, € 30 for a 2-figure set is quite a good price around here. You pay € 14-18 for the figures were I live, a bit more for some.

Unfortunatly because you specificly dont like / want to pay a certain price for a figure doesn't make it less collectable/ valuable. In the end, I can say my collection is complete. That is the fun in collecting.

yeah the Gold lancer variant is cool cause it's rare...I plan on getting one soon. I think the TRU exclusive has kind of diminished the rarity of the gold lancer. But the fact that it's sealed and single packed is cool.

Its not the fact that the weapon is gold that makes it 100 bucks. Its that its an extremely limited chase/variant. They could have released the variant as a Marcus with a different facial expression and it would still be just as valuable due to the amount of them that are out there. So to a hardcore collector, getting that variant is more important than having duplicates of other figures. 1 of EVERY available toy is 10x more important.

So when I see people pay 100 bucks for Chase Marcus two things come to my mind. 1) I understand completely why they would get it. That need to get that full collection. And 2) I thank God I got him based on luck when they were first shipping out and didn't have to pay higher than MSRP for him.

So if he isn't worth it to you, that's fine. But you need to understand that he is worth more than $$$ to the rest of us.

yeah if you want everything you should and i just bought the whole series 3 set online, less than an hour ago actually (minus the gold lancer chase variant of marcus )

I plan to have my NECA 7" Figure Collection Completed by October, the only things I won't have is the Delta Squad Box Set, Marcus Golden Lancer Chase Variant, and those two 2-Packs with the Golden Weapons. I might get the two 2-Packs for Christmas if I have money and I don't know what to buy. Then I'll buy games and other Gears stuff until Series 6 or whatever comes out.
