I'm sorry What do you mean? Are you referring to Softimage thats the only freeware tool I know of that starts with soft in is name. or maybe this was what you were referring to? Is this what you were looking for?

i just searched for the same, then i found out that i already downloaded it at the video tutorials section: http://udk.com/documentation
its the file "3dbuzz_assets.zip", 76884626 bytes in size. if you already found it, then nvm, but it should help others locating that file
when unzipped the archive, youll find the stuff for softbody in "packages.zip", which needs to be extracted (again), simply copy the file "physics_assets.udk" to your UDK installation folder into "content". in the content browser, search the package, and click "fully load".
