I'll take all I can get when it comes to this thread and I'm glad to see you were eager to participate. (Perhaps you could get someone with good eyes who isn't color blind like me to do a outline of the continent/countries in red or blue, so we can distinguish).

I'm not sure where this region is... I can't find anything we've read about or seen in any of the games, movies, or comics.

Yes, it is brown.

I couldn't find it either. Then again, that's only part of Sera, so Jacinto is most likely in another region.

I have huge problems with dark blues/purples... put the two next to one another and it hurts my brain, a lot.

Don't remind me... I do hope that we find more people who have maps. I noticed that one of the collectibles has a map behind it on the foreground... but you can't get to it because of the stuff in the closer part of the picture.

It's the collectible you find back at Jacinto when your defending it for the last time (it's Hoffman's datapad? Or I think it's a King Raven pilot's datapad. Can't remember...

The map itself may or may not be official, but the place names are all placeholders. It's an easter egg; that's the map that was on the table in the briefing room at the end of Gears 2, where Hoffman joins you (I think?). They just had somebody do a quick map, and add place names; didn't have any official ones, so they just came up with Star Wars stuff.

Bespin - Bespina
Wooker - Wookie
Wattosburg - Watto
Hothica - Hoth
Gulf of George - obvious one, isn't it?

The one labelled "Wuhr" has three Bespin's in it, plus a Kamina (Kamino).

The map itself is probably somewhat official, but only in that it's all contiguous landmasses (the book describes Sera as such) and it was created by an Epic employee.

^But as a real source of information it is not. It was simply a placeholder, used to give the illusion of a real map instead of taking the time to plan out a full fledged one.

ok so i decided to see how many starwars references i can make on this "map" placeholder.... HO.....LY..... SH** i circled everything i saw on photoshop and i cant get the pic to load on here.... but the whole map is covered i promise you... any one notice the
