Yes I heard it was a poor game, any game mechanic that does the action for you is a poor game mechanic in my opinion, a game mechanic should NEVER take control away from the player. I might check out that Binary Domain game you suggested, it looks pretty good.

13 more days until RE:ORC is available for me... and yeah, it's cover system is a bit off, but it's a much added bonus when going to peek around a corner, Binary Domain is a superior cover system lol, but mp is where replayability is since we can't make maps for either.... but if BD had its editor, I think we could pull off making an mp mode, lol

I'm certain that BD uses UE3, but we gotta pray that it doesn't use the dreaded CookedPCConsole, if it uses CookedPC and it doesn't have editor packages that's fine, you can reuse the UDK ones, we'll see what happens!

Turns out Binary Domain uses an in-house engine, dammit! I could swear I read somewhere that it used UE3, hmm...

Binary Domain is funny, some love stories , Epic will never make Marcus and Anya into this, but Japanese will do..lol....

Racoon City need a patch soon......Sniper Elite 2 is a good cover shooting game, worth a try...


Well, played RC for a while, it's OK, just a console port, need polish, the auto cover system not that bad, but the game need optimization...

Kismet 2.0 sounds super awesome! I finally got round to downloading UDK, gonna learn it now All this stream-lined development stuff must be why Epic are able to work on 5 projects!

Yeah, UE3 2004 demo was amazing for it's time. It just makes you think, I wonder how good UE4's life cycle is going to be, the Unreal Engine is very good for evolving Look at the difference between 2006 UE3 and 2012 UE3, a massive difference. It's gonna be an exciting few years to say the least

A shame consoles (and a f#%!ed up economy that leaves me stuck with my obsolete PC) are getting in the way, as always...

Anyhow, anyone need a dose of TPS with cover system? I think I saw a game called MAX PAYNE 3 with cover system, check it out.

Sadly, no editor, it won't quench our hardcore addiction to TPS with cover system, but better than nothing.

Yeah, this year we got MAX 3, also UBI Ghost, and Namco Inversion also come to PC, all cover system.....

Now Epic is persuading Sony and MS using this UE 4, but i hope they can make big title come to PC, some FPS or RPG is OK, but we want Gears...

Well considering the huge differences in the development process between UE3 and UE4, that isn't going to happen. UE4 doesn't even use unrealscript anymore.

How do you feel the RE RC cover system, man .....it sucks...

Cover system def not perfect, can clearly be shot even when in cover and no blindfire leaves you safe, the only way to beat professional is to choose 1 of 2 people (mimic/infect), the rest are garbage, lol.

I do not understand one thing, the epic games said to have happy users for PC that does not have new gears of war, epic games CHINESE division is working on a game for the PC that should only be like gears of war . I have seen is called mercenary ops and that can not be considered a game of epic. bullestorm that has not been very successful is 2000 times in this epic game. but instead of making a disappointing work the epic can not think of doing gears of war for next-generation PC? is a sop to the users pc?

Xbox 360 has no games. Thats why gears of war still exclusive, this game make some people buy this ****box 360.

I would not have problems using the xbox but I'm not going to pay a subscription for online play.
