Yeah, but that's what happens when we, the thriving PC gears mod community, hear of something like this.

Most morons *ahem, I mean, console gamers, think that PC games are worse if not equal to their console. While you might enjoying paying $10 for some DLC to play for a few days at most then forget about it, modders can bring life to the game for years FREE OF CHARGE.

Look at the Bulletstorm PC section.... now look here...... guess which game has an editor.

Wahtched the GOW 3 walkthough video, great, cole train cole train... the level design improve a lot, and yeah, more female NPC...
PC really need more game like this...

Not to mention if Bill S.978 gets passed in USA, you will be a felon in United States if you watch a youtube video with copyrighted content, but don't worry, they have a "fair play" idea, meaning if you can prove you accidentally watched a video, they can "decide" to let you off the hook. Recent news, Epic now is making 5 new games, they all have PC version, and Mike Capps said no plan for Unreal series recently.

yeah i know they want to make new title and make some change, but if a Gears 2 PC port then so much better, if they have no time, at least let PCF port GOW 2 again, not an no MP no Editor FPS Bulletstorm 2,3 etc....We need more cover system TPS....

It's a pipe dream for the 360 to even think it can ever play GoW at 1920x1200 with AA and AS at 16x at 60+fps.

Let's be realistic here. Epic openly admits to betting their future on consoles, specifically the Xbox. That statement is in the GoW3 EE book.

Since Gears, Epic has retconned their own history and tossed little morsels to the PC community who helped make them. Remember the ads for UT3? "From the Studio that brought you Gears of War"; Yeah, well, without PC gamers who supported Epic back in the Unreal/Unreal Tournament days while they battled iD Software for engine supremacy, there wouldn't be a Gears of War. Since Unreal Tournament 2004, here's the PC titles Epic Games has put out: Gears of War (Windows), Unreal Tournament 3, Bulletstorm (and Bulletstorm was a shoddy port; sorry, it's true). That's it!

While Unreal and Gears has undoubtedly made Epic quite a bit of money, I would argue that Epic probably makes the bulk of their profits from Unreal Engine licensing, not franchise game sales. Now consider that most of the industry pundits are predicting the new gen consoles to hit the market in mid- to late-2013 and that Unreal Engine 3 is aging and will be considered "old tech" by the time the next systems (excluding Nintendo's) come to market.

Which of the following do you think most of Epic will be working on next: Gears 2 and/or Gears 3 for PC, a new UT title, or Unreal Engine 4?

I know what I'd put my money on.

The new game Epic announced is a cartoon style game, God, i don't care if it come to PC, the other 4 i think the same...

if Gears is made by PCF in future i hope it come to PC, with better editor for modders. or make other games the same as Gears style , cover system TPS, not bulletstorm 2...

Perhaps Microsoft will release it for PC, one day when the 360 will be outdated.

After all they DO plan on bringing Xbox Live on PC, right ?
They have to give PC gamers incentives to suscribe, and i believe a Gears compilation for PC would be great.

Perhaps when the days of the 360 will be over Microsoft will port (or Epic) Gears 2/3 to the PC. It would not hurt the sales anymore i believe.

They already did that and they made it free. It's called "Games for Windows Live." I wholeheartedly agree with a GOW PC compilation. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

cliff has a huge problem with games on pc platform. from interviews before gears 3 about people asking with gears of war 2 to be put on the pc. he says something like he isnt looking into porting or making any gears for pc anymore because the pc community has a huge ability and doesnt want to just loose money from people pirating his games. he won't be looking into it unless a huge improvement in the DRM department is implemented or he is convinced enough the its a good idea.

just like halo 3 took off and gears of war 3 it will only be a console game.

halo had a huge pc community but i dont think the gears has much of a pc community mainly a unreal one at best. if anything pray on a gears 2 port with maybe a map editor and mod tools. other than that i would get your hopes up about anything.

gears of war 3 still sells very nicely here in the aus with many high prices and deals.

Yeah, that's the bad thing. If the game was going to be released on PC then it would get released on G4WL no doubt, which is not good. I notice a pattern with games on G4WL, none of them sell well.

no matter if they rls it on GF4L or not I would buy it, and by the way they should realise that the PC gaming is growing again! many games are coming to pc which was console exclusive before like the new Resident Evil, Devil May Cry or Rayman Origins, Alan Wake and many more to come, the sales are good especially on Steam, the excuses not to rls GOW 2-3 on PC are totally ridiculous like the piracy problem which is on every console too, or when they said that GOW was designed to consoles, that's totally not true, it is wonderful on PC. the PC gamers showed that we deserve these games, I dont need any freaking pathetic facebook-related games from you Epic, it would be like spitting in my face by you, I want GOW and many more of us want it too! and I think we shouldnt give it up since the people's rage can turn everything just see how Ubisoft had to rls Ghost Recon Future Soldier because of the anger or Rayman Origins and it is the same case with 2K Games' Bioshock 2 Minerva's Den. Yeah, the piracy statement is ironic. Gears of War 3 was the most pirated game on Xbox in 2011 and even then an incomplete build got leaked 3 months before the game's release.

Windows live is not as good as steam, also it's not that mod friendly...

but as long as Epic follow MS, Gears pc is hard to come, also MS did a lot to xlive online part, no way to change that...
