Seriously still not unlocked with over 10,000 kills

Gears Of War part 1
Does anyone have an email address for the gears of war server ? I contacted xbox live and they said it is the server that's responsible for unlocking this achievement . I have 8,600 warzone kills and 1,500 execution kills all ranked matches . I had no problem unlocking the other achievements . I'm not the only one that has more than 10,000 ranked kills and still no Seriously .

This was a common problem, just keep killing people and it should unlock.

Doesn't count when there are less than 6 people? I think that was it. Not sure, I forgot. :\

Kills after the match becomes 5 or less people don't count, kills on DLC maps do not count, kill steals do not count ( I think ), and I think those are the only circumstances.

The DLC maps not counting makes a lot of sense . When the game first came out the original maps were programmed to unlock SERIOUSLY . I 'll stick to the original maps that came with the game .

'I’m assuming that you’re taking your kill count from the Leaderboards. Unfortunately the number on the Leaderboard doesn’t necessarily reflect your progress towards the "Seriously..." achievement, although it’s usually very close. Due to the way Ranked Matches work, if a match is aborted (either by you or the host quitting before it’s complete), if enough rounds have been played then those will get counted towards the Leaderboards but because the match was not fully completed, those kills will not count towards the "Seriously..." achievement. Over time this usually means that there is a small difference between the number on the Leaderboards and your achievement count.'

one things for sure, stop quitting, especially late in the match. u can unlock achievements with 5 or less as i did it with my hammer of dawn achieveement, i also doubt a game would rly have kill not count on its dlc, that makes no sense

Make sure they are all in warzone...according to some, they wont count if you mix gametypes. And dont quit just cause there is under 6 players, I got my seriously when everyone in the room quit.

I hit mine at 12276, I was in a game with 5 players also, i tink it's just glitched all round, But certain things can help ithe achievement come quicker.

Ok I'm at 10,204 ranked kills in warzone now . Not to mention the 1554 kills in ranked execution . I wish the leaderboards could unlock my achievement . I'd like to get it before Gears 3 comes out . Can someone from the epic games server fix this problem ? Look at the top 5 players in gears 1 warzone . Someone hacked it and now they are in the negative for total points . I thought my xbox would unlock this but to no avail .

from what iv heard it cannot be a mix of game types but just the one! i unlocked mine at 18.846 warzone kills lol

DLC isnt the problem, i got my Sniper, chainsaw and Headshot Achievment from DLC maps.

I unlocked it when the match completed with only 4 players . The 5th player on the other team quit and it unlocked . So as long as you complete the match win or lose your kills count towards Seriously .

Also if host quits the kills don't count either although they still remain on your stats page, its real buggy loads of people have said i have over 15,000 kills and no seriously... just keep plugging at it!

I believe its also that if you own a guy named like "Garlic" :P and kill him round after round. If "Garlic" quits before the match is over those kills doesnt count toward the achievement but the other kills on those who is still in the game counts.

That Is What I Believe, and it is a explanation why some guys have gotten achievement with fewer than 6 people in a game.

yes you have to have at least 6 people, 3 on one team and 3 on the other, any less and nothing. keep going keep going. but my friend has had the game sence day one and still hasnt unlocked it yet and hes got a **** ton of kills. good luck with that.

Host + Random Vs. Me.

I lost, bt had a couple of kills and... Bam. Cheevo unlocked.

if u leave from a game the kills dont count and sometimes kills dont count but if you keep killing them you should get the achievment soon

I don't believe this less than 6 people thing either and yet everyone insists on it. I believe the game saves the seriously progress at the end of the match and sine people quit the stats go to the leaderboard as stated but not the saved progress towards the achievement.

I just tried to start a 6 man game today but since people are so paranoid about the less than 6 rumor people would rather search for games for an hour(since this game's been out for so long it can be hard sometimes to get a game), get owned when they find a game and quit, instead of playing the game.

You're right. The less than 6 people rumor is totally false. The kills don't count if you quit or if the host quits. That's it. Both of those happen a lot though, so I'm not surprised it takes so long for people to get the achievement now. Back when I got it, I'm pretty sure all the kills counted unless you quit, because I only had about 8950 total kills on the leaderboards.
