No matter what kind of weaknesses they incorporated into it, neither would I.
Gears' bare-bones kind of gameplay also enticed me more than the souped-up weapon rush of Halo et al.
Sure there's power weapons in Gears but they all have some form of serious limiting factor on them.

I'd like to see some Vehicles in Multiplayer, but It'll need a lot of weaknesses. The One-Shot will obviously be a weakness, but maybe Gears and Locust would outmaneuver the Silverback too. But limited Ammo could be a possibility too.

Dude i saw the pic in game informer and rushed in here to create this exact thread. Of course this WOULD SUCK on MP. Leave it at campaign. And if you are going to put it in MP, make it so its something particular of 1 (one) playlist. Like getting the big daddy suit on bioshock.

It even has grenade launchers and detachable weapons (like in lost planet 2).... This really cant be a part of MP.

You can run with the SilverBack but it overheats

What we know so far:

- It haves a "Greanade Launcher" and two Machine Guns.
- You can Curb Stomp people with it
- You can ROADIE RUN but it overheats
- When you are not using it you and your teammates can use it as cover AND use the Machine Guns.
- You can Kick people with it, and Cliff said you can even kick cars/vans and send them flying across the level.
- Cliff said "It haves a ground pound with it's feet, which is a nice radial attack"
- It's easier if you shoot the back to take it down.

Horde and Campaign only please. I don't want vehicles of any kind in Gears 3 multiplayer. If you want vehicles, go play Halo or UT.

A guardian style mode involving each leader with a exo skeleton style suit like The Silverback, Im guessing the locust have something equal to the strength of it anyway, Beserker leader anyone?

Not necessarily...when he says teammates he means the squad members in the campaign...but if they do decide to make it available in MP I think it would be cool to have its very own playlist...like a Juggernaut Guardian or something...but im pretty sure the One-Shot could take a Silverback out in...one-shot so I dont see the problem about it being in MP...

he says killing people in the devolpers commentary which means real players besides every weapon in gears 1 & 2 went in mp why would they not have the silver back besides all the weapons in gears 3 seem OP the one shot could probably take it down quick it is a bigger target after all
