Gears of War PC "War" mod?

Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting Gears for PC, but not for the multiplayer. I have Gears of War 2 for the Xbox 360, so the only thing I'm after in Gears PC is mods. Before I buy it, I would like to know if there are any war mods out there? By that I mean, you and a lot of team-mates up agaisnt a lot of enemies? I know there are a lot of survival mods, but none of them seem to give you A LOT of team-mates as well. Anything?

By team mates do you mean other players or bots?

How many do you consider a lot? 4? 7? 12? 130?

I mean bots. And probably like 20 allies.

I'm pretty sure your PC would choke to death with that many bots running around. I remember seeing a post somewhere that it starts getting dicey at anything more than 12 AI present at the same time.

Hmmmm, okay well then like 6 team-mates then. It would be cool if you could pick to be part of a stranded army, COG army, or Locust army. And your teammates would be able to die, unlike in campagin. But anyway, just in general, a war mod that gives you allies, preferably NOT the main characters, just name-less soilders.

Sounds like you should check out Kantham's Lance Gold or his current Lance Elite mod. You can set up 7v7 battles with multiple waves and play as either COG or Locust.

Yeah, Kanthams mod is the replacement for custom multiplayer maps. I am looking forward to his elite final, and if he makes it able to select multiple maps.... then I suppose I should make a pack following those guidelines. I'll have darkravendown for sure.
