So I went to get the April build of the UDK, and after reading the documentation I realized that they had done some changes acording realtime shadows and stuff.
Now, when I go and build the lightning, even with Lightmass all the shadows are just completely black.. none of them got transparency at all.
I then went into the DominantLight properties to look at the settings, and then tried to fiddle a little with the CascadeShadowMaps properties. I then got some real time shadows it seems, but absolutely diddent affect my totally black shadows. I then looked at the other settings which were there as well from the march build, but everything seemed to be like it should.
Any help on this on how to get the transparency working with the shadows also when building the lightning would be greatly appriciated.
please note, that this only affecting the maps im currenlty creating, the GDC Demo seems to totally fine, but I have no idea what so ever, on what im doing wrong currently.
