I guess it could be female, are there female Locusts or is there just the Queen?

Yeah I was kind of partial to the Pounder myself. I love drawing big muscle bound characters...

I would love for them to hire me, God imagine that...

These drawings are amazing and I would love to see some of these enemies in GOW3 except for the Shaman and the new human characters. They just wouldn't fit. Heres why, a floating enemy? Cliff Blesenski said in a dev diary that GOW isn't like Halo, no laser guns, its much more beefier and a floating enemy does not just fit GOW. Look at enemies of GOW and try to work off of them like you did with the Pounder and Raptor which I could see being in a GOW game.

Well he wouldn't float all of the time of course, maybe when he is reviving other locusts his feet would briefly leave the ground... there are already floating locusts in the game, when a Kantus revives them, some of the time they " levitate" and move to another location...Even though it might just be a glitch I thought it looked cool...

But like I said these are just ideas for the characters,trying to give it a little backstory....Which can be changed easily....

The deisgns are a seperate thing.

This little guy is a variation of the Ticker and the Wretch combined, but instead of a normal explosion when it comes near you, it explodes and sends out hundreds of metal shards, shredding anyone who is close to it...

It has a much larger blast radius than the Ticker making it a much larger threat...

Even for a second, it just isn't GOW. Floating enemies? No. Also, thats just a glitch and the Kantus actually suits GOW because it uses Imulsion. Not super powers. Leave that to Halo. (Not that it is a bad thing for other games)

Wow, that looks really cool! Maybe it could rotate with the wretch & ticker in Horde & campaign! It would just be random, very cool. I am assuming it be about the size of the ticker?

Also, I like shard number 1. Simple and looks like a shard. Number 2 looks like a sword and number 3 looks like a dagger.

Amazing work man, I'm going to go with number one. It seems a lot more original in the concept that you were trying to come off with. More of a shard/organic looking then the other two, which seem more like swords or daggers, instead of shards.

It would stand just a little taller than the wretch, it can stand up a bit on those legs and swipe you with it's hands too so it's just not a moving grenade.

It would be just as fast as the Tickers...

So far shard number one is in the lead....

I usually do a quick rough or write down some ideas either the night before or that day. It helps with the planning of the actual drawing....

Just one thing: It could just be me, but her pose seems to be somewhat "impossible". I feel like her center gravity is not where it's supposed to be. You know what I mean?

Interesting theory about Kiyoko, I've never really noticed that before (I think SKORGE mentioned it, but I wasn't paying much attention at the time ). But I think it's more cause she just looks like she's a killer.

And Mallock, cool finished sketch. I think the head looks a little small or something, but that could be just me. Not sure about the Robocop looking thing on her jaw either, but again... probably just me.
