Amazing... simply amazing. How in the world did you capture him so well? That's..... oh my god, most people are turned off by the amount of shapes and curves, not to mention detail, but you, you've taken it a whole! Great, great work!

Thanks for the compliments.

He was a challenge, but a fun challenge. It's the Cog armor I'm scared of, lots of detail on those.

If you can do Skorge, then I have no doubt that you can easily accomplish the COG soldiers. The amount of detail is high, but, honestly, Skorge seems more like the one packing in more detail.

I'm going to give it a go over the next few days, I think I'll just post anything new in this thread, instead of having multiple threads for individual drawings...

I wanted to do some designs of soldiers and creatures that might exist in the Gears universe too, and maybe other people can chime in with their drawings and ideas...

Just a thought.........

Yeah, you should just make this your mega thread of all your new drawings and put the links in the first page, with brackets that have 'NEW' on the side. And if you've got some ideas for new creatures and whatnot, post away, your style reminds me of BulletBlk, he was amazing.

No idea what to call this thing, was thinking it assists the Locusts in digging the tunnels to reach the surface. It stands around ten feet tall...

Here's an original Gear named Johnson, leader of the squad know only as Unit Seven....

The gun I thought would be the human's answer to the boomer gun only it has two firing modes, it also has a large caliber automatic rifle attached...

So here's another one

I called it a Locust Shaman

I had two ideas as to what this guy does...

I was wondering how the Locusts get the other creatures of the Hollow such as Brumacks and Reavers to fight with them (maybe it's already been explained and I missed it) That's where I thought this guy could come in, he has some sort of telepathic link to the other creatures...

The other idea came when I was playing the game. I noticed when the Kantus revive the other Locusts, some of the time they actually float off the ground and move...
Well I thought this guy could float at will and he has all sorts of chemical weapons to use against the humans, hence the little canisters and hoses....

Anyways...

Don't know if anyone's ever mentioned this before... but... you have a very British style to your work.

I think the helmets the Brumaks wear have something to do with the control, but yeah, seems like the Kantus use some form of telepathy. I also imagine them as geneticists of some kind, but that's just me.

Hell yeah! That's one bad ass looking design man. Keep them coming, these are fantastic, and the fact that you work so fast is jaw dropping, in a good way.

You think you might try some creatures? As in Brumaks or something along those lines? These are amazing.

By the way, also might want to hint the fact that a lot of the chemical warfare the Locust use is mostly ink from the seaders etc. (Hence - ink frag)

Named this big guy a Pounder for obvious reasons, much larger then a Mauler and much more powerful.

He has a giant hammer made from a large boulder with scraps of metal and large nails sticking out...

Don't get me wrong. This is awesome and all, but it seems to be moving away from regular Locust feel. It seems like no animal has any sort of fur in the Hollow...it's still great though.

Made a few adjustments, took the fur off the back near the tail, and the front legs and replaced the fur on the neck with thorn like barbs like a lizard...
