    Default Blender model texturing

I have a model i made in blender imported into udk but i dont know how to apply textures to the individual faces when i drag a material from the content browser it just applies it to the entire model. I tried adding textures in blender then importing it but that doesnt work either

You cannot assign materials to particular faces in objects imported into UDK, unless you've specified that in Blender previously.

So if you have a house with 3 materials in Blender - stone, wood and glass in this exact order assigned to particular faces of the model, you would import that model into UDK and then assign the materials to the object in the exact same order (for that you'll need to import the textures and create the materials quite obviously).

You can assign materials to a static mesh using the static mesh editor - and in particular by expanding the LODinfo and then assigning different materials to the material slots. Have a look:

In case you didn't know - you can open the static mesh editor by double clicking on your importet static mesh. Good luck!
