Bones question

Have basically just started playing with the tools as of this last weekend.
I've found allot of great tuts on importing vehicles including tracked vehicles.
But as of yet I haven't found anything on setting up the bones for a tracked vehicle for instance.

Can anyone here point me in the direction of any tutorials that cover actually applying the bones to a tracked vehicle by chance?
Maybe a tut from start to finish?
