Good stuff; I'm wondering, why do you have to set the tickrate to 90 in the demo ini settings? I'm not arguing, I just would like to know the reason.

Default is 30fps, that is not good enough because the playbacks get choppy. I run the videos at 60fps, so that rate would do for any match. RypelCam also feature slow motion playback, so having more than 60fps for those interesting shots is always nice. Running the video at half speed is usually too slow, so there is not much of a point going to 120fps and beyond.

I created a new home for all the UT3 match videos. From now on, everything will be uploaded there. Direct link to the channel will be provided once I have a decent amount of videos uploaded there.

Some important people have suggested that we need more iCTF, vCTF and War videos and less Duel videos. We have seen the same duelers over and over again, so we need a change. I want you non-camera shy players to send some good demos my way. UTComp is not needed for any of the new gametypes we are about to cover in this thread and on the channel. I will try to make videos from each of them on a weekly basis and keep the daily releases coming to you viewers as usual, this time around with different contents.

There is a cup coming up soon. ClanBase European cup, many gametypes. Sign-ups end in just a few days.

Here is a good opportunity to play at a competitive level. Also, if you upload your demos to ClanBase, chances are you will be picked for Internet Flash videos in this thread.

Actually that's not why your banned and you know it. There aren't enough good players out there that I enjoyed banning you. But I had this conversation with Hotcake/lkemas back in the pug days. I think it's rude to ignore people in games and wouldn't play with him if he did it. Now I actually want to play with you but not if you're going to be so competitive that you block out all conversation. Occasionally its nice to be social. If you want to block chat for serious games (ladder matches, tournaments) that's fine. But blocking chat for regular games is just rude.

Anyways I'm sorry to see I made you angry enough to post a video on youtube. You know how to reach me if you want to be civil and play some more games

Well at least he banned you from his own server. I still remember when he used to shut down other people's servers, or when he kicked me out of a pug for being like 20/0 with only one gun (on another guy's server, of course).

So lesson of the day, stay out of Random54's servers. He'll have no trouble finding reasons to kick/ban people.
