Looking for GOOD HORDE TEAM

Recently I've been in the mood to do some horde. So I'm looking for a good horde team that plays smart, won't leave, and yeah. Just hit me up. GT: Astronuhmy

I'm going to be doing the new pack horde achievements tomorrow around 7:00, so it's 10:10 PM here now, so in about 20 hours and 50 minutes, so yeah. Be on then, and I'll be playing execution for about 1 hours before that. So be on around those times if you wanna catch me.

I'm not the Horde junkie I used to be, but I think I could be coaxed into playing. What level are you intending to play at? I'm used to Insane difficulty runs, and the team I play with has quite a few #1 scores (once you get past all the hacked scores that is).

So if you're thinking of doing Hardcore (or even Normal) matches, that would make a nice (and quicker) change of pace from the Insane games (which tend to take a long time) I'm used to.

By the way: don't overlook Horde speed runs. Those are a blast.

haha yeah, I've grown to realize he is. Yeah, I'd like to do a speed run, I still lack the 50 waves on the snowblind and nowhere, I wasn't always a horde junkie, but recently I've grown to love it! I still love Execution, of course.

If there's ever a Gears of War 3, I think the perfect Horde mode in it would be something which successfully combines the pure fun and quickness of a speed run with the focus on cover and strategies of an Insane run.

Not sure how that would possible, but if strategy and cover could also be balanced with some periods of good ol' runnin' and gunnin' it'd be excellent.

Personally, i think the ideas you put out in another thread (sorry no link right now) are the best ideas i've seen for a future horde. I would still like to see "classic" horde in gears 3 though and hope that we still get to play horde on multiplayer maps as well as any horde specific maps that people keep wanting.

I've beat the horde a lot, but never without restarting. I've never tried a speed run, but I'm guessing you'd have to restart a lot, right?

Not at all. In fact, if you are on about the speed runs on these forums then if you restart, you do not qualify for glory. 1-50....all the way.
