    Default Paid 2 week+ Core mechanics programming job

    Hey guys im looking for a programmer to set up the basic start to my gameplay.

    There is 3 elements I need done.

    1.Object/ building placement while in game eg.sim city style but simplified

    2.Random level generation with devil may cry style sword/gun combat

    3.Tower defence. eg. Top down tower placement, different tower types and different enemy strength and weaknesses

    I have a job posted on elance so if you wish to go through there I am more then happy.

    My estimates already indicate this will probably take more than 80 hours, is your two week time set?

    Just at a glance, I'd say this kind of thing would take at least two months. These aren't exactly small features 0_o

    If you are not in the field the OP is requesting, their is no need to be sarcastic.
    Please refrain from posting unnecessary remarks that have no constructive purpose and are used solely to mock the poster.

    Anyways, It would most likely take around 3 months to get everything as requested.

    You need to give a bit more info regarding the following points before anybody can give you any kind of estimate on the time/effort/compensation required.

    It mostly depends on the random level generation part. If you have non-order-sensitive building blocks with generic connecting features (e.g. doors or bridges) it may well be doable in 2 weeks. But worst-case scenario it will take several years and access to the UE3 source code.
    So this is an important detail you need to provide. Also important are how the tower defence should work (is there a line of enemies going a certain predefined route or is it more chaotic?) and what, if anything, needs to work in multi-player and how.
