    Default Can't add key for Anim Control Track

    I'm trying to figure out how to use blending animation in the UDK.

    I have a carnivorous plant set that I modelled and animated in 3DS Max and imported with ActorX.

    Here's a shot of the AnimSet. Everything appears to be working, the animations all play nicely.


    Here's a shot of the AnimTree.


    Here's a shot of the properties of the SkeletalMeshActorMAT that's been placed in the level.

    Here's where I get stuck. I can add a empty group, I can add an Anim Control Track (it correctly asks me to specify a slot). However, I can't add a key. I click they add key button in the top left and it depresses but nothing happens. It does not add a key and it does not ask which animation it should play for that key.

    I'm sure I must have missed something or not specified something somewhere. Anyone have any idea what it is? Thanks for reading my long question!

    Enter is the button for adding a key otherwise, if it doesn't work try clicking inside the timeline and try Enter again.

    No dice. I added a movement track and was able to add keys to that no trouble.


    I'm convinced that something somewhere doesn't see the animations, be it the mesh, the matinee object or something. I'm missing something, I just can't figure out what.

    Its in the anim slotname there where u enter the key also, make sure u have the animset out in the NewGroup animsets slots.

    Thanks, that was the problem! I just added the animset to NewGroups animsets:
