    Default Flipbook/Movie Texures in sync

I've been trying to make some flippety-floppy pieces of paper that flutter through the air and figured some facing particles with simple flipbook textures would do the trick, while still being computationally sound. Problem is, the animated textures are always synchronized on all applied surfaces.

    UDN says:

"IMPORTANT NOTE: Flipbook textures suffer the same problem as movie textures in that the same source flipbook texture will be in sync when used on multiple objects in a scene. There is a TTP to remedy this issue for flipbooks."

What does this even mean? "TTP to remedy?" Do I have to mortage my house to get animated particles that start playing on spawn instead of all in sync?

Hmm. Perhaps there's a way for particles to switch materials on spawn or something. I appreciate all help I can get and will post my own findings as I try to figure something out

"TTP" refers to an entry in our bug tracking tool.

Ah, thanks! Well, good luck with that, then

Anyway, another problem I forgot to mention is, that I seem to have trouble figuring out how to loop the animation on the particles. I can get it to play once over it's lifetime or once on spawn, but it'd be nice if it could loop.

The quick fix is to just play it over lifetime and make a longer animation that covers the time-frame, but the material loops on other surfaces, just not particles?
