Heres a crappy vid (crappy as in the video quality xD) of my game :] tell me what u think.

No story for now well, no actually story but i'm working on it as i go.

Update: added some postprocess hehe and im very satisfied with the results.

Update 2: added a cinematic after you click play also some motion blur that im tweaking around which i finally got working there are no voices in the cinematic yet although there is supposed to be, although im waiting on Repent for that so here is the video : CLICK HERE

Update 3: Added a helmet to my player and some more enemies, death match AI makes players kill themselves, so idk how to make them work together. ALSO im working on a VEHICLE for my game :]

Nice work so far, I like it. My only crit atm is that, like most gams like this, it's too dark atm. Even if your game revolves around lighting as core gameplay mechanic, you shouldn't make the level too dark. It's fine to have to have some places, key points, almost pitch black, but don't makes the game hard for a player by making them struggle to see where they are going.

ACTUALLY!, the vid makes the game extremly dark! only the begining with the flash light is the darkest part of the game :]

Thanks haha, they are like cylinders and what not, if you pick up about 15 of them an item spawns at your location, like bonuses.

Yeah, the world is pretty dark, but you can use that to your advantage. Remember Penumbra?

But don't overdo it! Players will need to know what the heck is going on there.

mean thats very nice but how the great of the big god you make the custom HUD and custom weapons? i have already animated my weapon in 3ds max and imported to udk with the actor x plugin and created the materials and animset but i no know how to start to create the code so i need helpppp

search for geodavs tutorials he has a lot of videos on creating custom weapons vehicles and and many other things, I extended my gun from linkgun and just replaced the mesh with mine and went on from there, as for the hud its just a UI scene for now.

My name is Maria and I am a new user to all this haha I am determined to learn the ropes, I'm okay at drawing started to model simple objects such as stairs and whatever haha Hopefully I won't annoy anyone with questions, I ask A LOT of them =] Right now I'm using Maya and Mudbox to create simple models and helping (when i can) TheAgent with his game =] He's my boyfriend aka (future fiance hehe) He's my inspiration, he really works hard on his games =]

very nice... although for a majority of the cinematic.... nothing appears to be happening, all you're doing is looking at the sun and space station. Other than that, very, very, nice.

I used one of dennys animation rigs to animate the character in MAYA, and imported it in to the human male animation assets, and what not to use in game and to use for the cinematic hehe and thanks :]
