Default Using Source Engine animations in UE3??

Hey there, I am from the Orion Project - currently a Source engine mod that was recently released to some nice success ( exclusive closed beta with IGN & FilePlanet as well as some Mod of the Year nominations already ). You can read more at our site:

We are however currently making the port to the UDK. I am curious as to whether or not itll be possible to use our weapon animations without having to re-do them? I have been browsing around quite a bit trying to figure it out, I am no 3D artist and I was wondering if someone could just give me a straight answer :P

Well, in order to get them into source you had to animate them in a 3d app like Max / Maya / XSI anyway - so just load up those anim files and use ActorX to export the models with anims - easypeasyjapanesy.

What Thomas said. I guess the only problem would be that you need to orient the weapon in the right axis and position to match how Unreal handles first person meshes and such. But the actual animation/mesh shouldn't be lost, just some tweaking needs to be done.
