Hi Steve, is it possible to get in contact with someone from Epic?
We worked almost 3 years on our mod, and so far we're not even mentioned once. I was wondering if it's because of lack of quality, because the version we submitted was basically unplayable, or something else.

    Congrats to the Finalists!
I'm sure I just barely got squeezed out, but have no complaints with an HM.
    Well done all!

Anybody know how many more finalist categories there are left to announce? Hopefully the final winners list will be posted sometime shortly after the last category.

There are 3 more categories in which they still have to announce the finalists.

That was an E-mail from Jim Brown to myself about feedback on a map for a previous phase. They don't give feedback..

Look at the quality of the finalists and HM's there too. If a reasonably playable Planetstorm didnt get a look in, I wouldn't rate your chances. Nobody on our team could even get your project to run (the updater version)

The updater-version was made noob-friendly... auto-correcting check-sums, and overall a bunch of checks if the installed version etc was all ok. Then again, the 'game' itself was merely a pre-alpha version, so definately lacked many things. But I'll look into your comments, so thanks for sharing.

I'm still curious what kind of lawyer would prohibit: "We couldn't install it, so bad luck" xD.
