system requirements question

I am considering loading UT3 on a laptop that meets or exceeds all the Min requirements except for one:

The laptop has a GForce GO 6150, and the game requirements are GForce 6200

How much of a problem is this.

It won't run at all I can almost guarantee. That card is integrated (integrated is horrible for 3D processing at all--Intel GMA on my old laptop barely ran UT2003 at 20fps) plus it's a laptop card, and laptop cards are much slower than desktop cards (the 6200 wasn't even anywhere close to fast when it came out).

In short, no. If you do manage to somehow get it to load, since games are CPU and GPU dependent, you might get only a good 2 frames per second out of that if you're really lucky. You can load the older UT games though if you want--it still won't play them all that well (from experience), though it will play them.

I can just run it on my notebook with low to mid setting Nvidia Geforce 9200M GS 512MB.

It won't run it, or it will run poorly with all settings at lowest possible.
Spare yourself the frustration and play another game on your laptop

probably not well, i got my old 8600GT on rumours that would be the minimum and it ran only well on low detail, 30 FPS on high detail with the lowest resolution which is intolerable for most people.

8500GT here. Have to play on min details at 800x600 or I get below 30fps frequently.

DaFaDa, I wouldn't recommend UT3 for that system.

You will not have fun playing UT3 on this notebook.
Even if it runs, how do you imagine to play online with many players?
No chance, believe me.
The bots require cpu power as well, so even the campaign could be a problem...

Yeah before i had a geforce 7300 gt and i had a lot of lag (like 30fps all the time) with mini resolution. It s hard to play with it. I know i can t know :P but gl !
