Default [Solved] UnrealFrontend.exe doesn't cook or package content

ok can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong
UnrealFrontend.exe doesn't cook or package any of my custom content

it will cook+package any meshes+materials that are in a map eg:- weapons/vehicles/statics

it won't cook/package any of the character packages nor sound packages for the weapons

surely it must be posible to make a game with lots of content not just maps

go through your process. I know from Hourences' tutorial that you can add "+EditPackages="YourPackage" to DefaultEngine.ini to force it to cook them.
That's how I interpreted it, at least.

well i added this to the ini
    Code:
    [Engine.PackagesToAlwaysCook]
    bStandaloneSFServerSideOnly=true
    +Package=EnvyEntry
    +Package=UTFrontEnd
    +Package=CH_CSMWB_Trooper
and the cook log showed it picked it up, but in the stand-alone install nothing but errors about missing packages

not only that but it doesn't even add the games ini file !!!!!!

The packager is broken at least since the April build. It ignores user configured items such as script packages. Geodav, try to change the created archive, maybe that just works.

Scriptpackages work if you use +ModEditPackages instead of +EditPackages.
The issue is that content referenced inside the scriptpackage is simply skipped. It just cooks content from the maps.
    Really seems broken.

Edit: And manually cooking the content doesn't work either.

    Default i have same problem

i have the exact same problem. +ModEditPackages says that its cooking it but i dont see it in the output. And the stand-alone complains about missing packages. Seems like a major issue to me.

sorry should have put solved long ago

you neeed to do as micahpharoh said and put
    add "+EditPackages="YourPackage" to DefaultEngine.ini
that being your Games class folder
don't use the +ModEditPackages as that was for UT3 and not UDK
then in UnrealFrontend.exe cook your maps first then copy your "game".u file from the \UDKGame\Script to the UDKGame\CookedPC now when you package your game it "should" include your custom content
