Thread: Reload System

    Default Reload System

There is a game called Parabellum that I believe is using UE3 and it has a particularly interesting reload system, I recommend you to try it.

Anyway I was wondering how they did it ? It's like the active reload in Gears of War except it's in First Person.
Would be rather interesting, dont you think?

Maybe you could describe what you are talking about, since I've never heard of the game you refer to first, and the game you refer to second, I've never seen.

If you can hit the reload button when the line is within a very narrow highlighted range on the meter, you'll shave a few seconds off your reload time. If you try for the active reload and miss it, however, you'll significantly extend the time it takes to reload your weapon, which could mean the difference between living and dying.

    Yes, exactly like that.
It looks pretty interesting IMO so I wonder how they made it.
Would anyone have a clue ?
