    Default gears map editor?

i have been thinknin about gettin gears for pc for a while for the map editor,

i know nothing at all about how this works

is it easy to use and manipulate items?
like preset cars, walls, grass ect to select and simple edit to change
or is the editor for the more technically minded user of such programs?

Overall, it's very user friendly (much moreso than Source or Radiant), but it still requires some technical proficiency to use. One thing to note is that the Gears Editor is extremely prone to crashes, so save often. There's a ton of tutorial sites out there to help you get acquainted with it.

    Some of my favorites:
http://www.icecreamyou.com/unreal (Compilation of many different tutorial sites)
http://waylon-art.com/LearningUnreal/ (Good for learning the basics)
http://www.hourences.com/book/tutorialsindex.htm (Various tutorials and theory - his book is fantastic, very much worth the $20)

I just wish there was more stuff out there on more intermediate and advanced stuff. I'm sure there is, I just haven't figured out where yet. :P
