Arrow New to UDK - Seeking Mentors

Hello everyone. I just graduated High School this year and am interested in Video Game Design. Saw UDK on FilePlanet and decided to give it a shot and see what I can do.

Interested in learning from someone that is experienced and hopefully once I learn enough start working on a project or with another team.

Advice / Tips / etc. are appreciated. I'm not good at coding (which I why I aim to do design) and don't know what to do exactly in UDK so just to clarify yes I am a complete noob to this stuff. :P

Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks.

Working with the UDK, you will definitely need to know how to code. There are plenty of tutorials available, I'd recommend reading through this to start with:

Considering the UDK was released only two days ago, I guess everyone else is also new to the UDK. Well, apart from those who ported Prometheus (that would be Angel Mapper) and The Ball (Hourences and his team) from UT3, and who made Whizzle.

    <elmuerte> you shouldn't do all-nighters, it's a waste of time and effort
    <TNSe> nono
<TNSe> its always funny to find code a week later you dont even remember writing
<Pfhoenix> what's worse is when you have a Star Wars moment
<Pfhoenix> "Luke! I am your code!" "No! Impossible! It can't be!"
