Default UDK doesn't start - log unhelpful

    Hello everyone!

I regret that I must make my first post a support one, but this is my problem:

Attempting to run UDK.exe in any way (double-click, commandline, frontend...) does not work. I do not even get a splash screen or anything. Nothing appears to happen, but a Launch.log is generated.

Unforunately, the log doesn't tell me anything that is remotely useful: if my specs weren't up to it, it'd complain about that.
My OS is Windows XP SP3 (32-bit), and my specs are as follows:

    -General-
    BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.0
    Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz
    Memory: 1536MB RAM
Page File: 739MB used, 2184MB available

    -Graphics-
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GS
    Manufacturer: NVIDIA
    Chip type: GeForce 7900 GS
    DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
    Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_00F5&SUBSYS_A5063842&REV_A2
    Display Memory: 256.0 MB
    Current Mode: 1440 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)
This is the unhelpful log in question:

NOTE: This log is when I attempted to run Whizzle - the log is just about identical no matter what I'm running in the UDK...

As you can see, it doesn't tell me what the critical error is, at all.

P.S: I have tried rebooting and reinstalling the U3 Redistributable...

I have a simular issue but from what i can work out you require to have .Net Framework installed i would recommend that you make sure .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 is installed you can download this from Microsofts website. Hope this helps improve your situtation.

    I have .Net 3.5 already.

Here's an odd thing: the editor, and "play in editor" work fine for me.
Also, on a side note, can I decrease the resolution of play-in-editor?

    Post your hardware specs, "epicnuts".

And is there anything useful in your log file?
