My Gears of War custom painted controller

well awhile back I posted a similar thread showing off a few pics but the controller wasn't quite finished yet. If you want to see those pics go here.

Anyways I finished the controller just recently and I got alot more pics of it. I did end up actually putting in some red LED's and they look awsome. It turned out pretty good I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Looks awesome! But there's no need for the X,A and Y button... You don't need them on gears.

although the red light on your controller is like a red ring of doom/death.
"personally i hate that colour, when on ms console things"
yet it fits well with the gears theme.

you just need to buy a paint mask to do it. Its like a small sticker. There real cheap, I just bought mine online.

I have no idea how to do the LEDs haha
Although a COG themed controller is an awesome idea, a blue one with a white omen, I think I'll do that when I get some spare time, even though I have no idea what paint and stuff to use haha

Very cool gears controller. On topic (but not to hi-jack) i'll post the controller I just finished up for Forza 3. It's a Ferrari spin and works well for me bc I'm Italian =)

ya I bought a brand new controller and painted everything red first, and then I put my crimson omen paint mask on that I cut out and painted it black. Then when it dried I pealed off the paint mask and thats how the red crimson omen is there.

lol I actually did put blue lights in my wired controller that I use. I'll post some pics later today.

well not counting the brand new controller that I bought for it, probably about $30 for all the paint. Its not that expensive.
