Default Should I enabled PhysX or will it slow me down?

I haven't noticed any PhysX stuff yet other than when the 2 or 3 original Physx maps came out. I had tried them briefly but they ran really badly with max settings at 1920x1200 unlike other maps so I gave up on them. I also disabled PhysX acceleration to make sure it wouldn't slow down my game in any other maps.

Is there any reason why I should enable it? Are there maps are there that BOTH support PhysX and NON-PhysX players at once? For example, PhysX enabled have better graphics? If so, am I missing out on much, and does it slow your game down a lot?

I just remember that this map that had a physx tornado on it ran so badly I never played it again.

PhysX only maps run pretty ****ty but regular maps with "physX hardware enabled" will only make your PPU calculate object movement instead of the CPU, it will not increase Graphics detail and normally only increases the fps a bit if you have a dedicated physx card.
