(Excuse my bad english, my native language is German)

I've steped up to Windows 7 by getting a licence from my University (MSDN AA). Now I was willing to see how Gears of War runs on my new hardware and i struggled. I cant even install it. When I insert the DVD the startup comes up and I say install and he copying and then unpacking it and after this he starts scratching the Disc. I quit this scratching after some Minutes and redo the installation (because after I ejected the DVD he says the installion failed). This time i let him scratch the Disk for nearly an Hour. Nothing happens.

I've searched the Web and only find Threads with topics about how bad its getting to run even it is installed properly.

I'm Very disapointed by this. How can I install my Game?

(Is there a Patch coming for Windows7? Looks like Windows7 isnt a great Platform for Gears of War Fans at all)
