Acquiring an account
Acquiring an account is simple: Select your game below, enter your email and any comments or questions you may have and click "Get FTP Login". Depending on the time of day you will receive a FTP login within a couple of hours.

Well after i restarted the serverpc after some windows updates the server didnt come back online...
It will be offline until tomorrow morning when i can contact the guys in the datacenter to
manually reboot the serverpc and see whats up with it...
I will also defragment the harddrives tomorrow morning then which will take at least an hour
so the redirect will be offline until at least 12:00 1/16/2010 maybe longer...
I'll post here when it is back online...

I'm in process of moving the redirect content to another serverpc hosted in Germany on a 8 core i7 2.8 Ghz with 12GB RAM and 1GBit connection.

Any files uploaded today will probably have to be re-uploaded again.
Some ftp accounts may also stop working, there is NO need to request a new login, i will be
porting over the accounts to the new FTP server software.

Any logins that will be requested today will be delayed until i finish moving all files and configurations.

Hi all new to this, im just wondering exactly what the redirect service is? is it our own servers or something that zunnie is kind enough to host for us?

It's a service that provides clients with a fast way of downloading UT2004 packages when connecting to a server. In theory any server could be set up as one, but in practise it's much easier to use public ones.

I there something wrong with the redirect? Because when downloading from my server it never stops. The download reaches like 2000% and never finnish. Anyone have the same problem?

It is down, pick another one. The one at http://ut-files.com seems good enough.

About the 2000%, my guess is that you have probably set bUseCompression to true, so the client is told the compressed file size, while the server sends the uncompressed file, which is much larger. Could be wrong, I dunno, anyway that redirect is gone.

And:

I am moving this server contents to a new serverpc in Amsterdam around the 25th-30th of November 2011.
While this move takes place some new uploads may not be working at that time.
I will be taking in new registrations for the redirect though, but some wont work until the move is completed.

I will let you peeps know when the move will be initiated and is finished. Although the move itself is done within
an hour or two the DNS change will take up to 24 hours in some areas to propogate fully.

Anyway, its 2 weeks from now so i'll let you know when it is done

The new serverpc specs are Quad Xeon 2.93GHz with 8 GB RAM, 100MBit unlimited located in Amsterdam.
