Anya and Marcus

Is it just me, or are they (Epic) hinting that Anya and Marcus dig each other? At the ending of GOW2, he seems to be sad that Anya did not get out in time, only to see her alive and we see him happy when she gets out from behind Cole Train, and she puts her right hand over her heart. If I am correct, they should either put that relationship in a book or explore it in GOW3.

Anya and Marcus have liked each other since marcus first joined up to the COG. but they couldn't get together because or the pendulum wars. i think they should explore their relationship a lot more in GOW3 maybe even the, actully getting together.

Actually, it never says that. Just says something about 'she can't have kids', and then never explains what they mean. I mean, what is up with that? WTF man? Stop cockblocking Marcus, Epic!

Barren = sterile, only sounds more harsh >D

Its actually quite a good character device, particularly in a setting where the human population is so low and will need to be re-built. She may have military talent and skill to trounce most men twice her age, but does it mean anything in a world where a woman's fertility essentially makes them a valuable commodity?

Marcus is the worst danm carether on game i hate playing us him went i play the story mode i cant wait to finish it up so i dont everrr and i mean everrrr have to play us hes sorry ass again i like dom andcole or bair allot more **** i like dizzy and the carmines allot and i mean allot better then wack clown finix

hey theres nothing wrong with marcus. sure hes not very sensitive and bad ass but thats because he had a bad childhood and about his farther and being locked up and all that.

Marcus is a lot deeper of a character than it appears. I don't know of anyone that could act him. They'd be acting what he looked like... not what he really is. Words measured with a micrometer, every little hint of body language speaking volumes. There's more to Fenix than meets the eye.

I know he is smart and all, but unless he has a doctorate in medicine, there would be no way in hell he would know that (unless poor Anya told him, but if that is the case, is it really his business?).

He knows because women who are fertile are immediately shipped off to 'breeding farms.' If Anya had been fertile, she'd have been shipped off too, irrespective of her heritage, background, social standing, etc.

Even if Anya's role is mostly operational (apparently she's more hands-on in the second book though), why would the government risk putting valuable assets, aka fertile women capable of repopulating the human race, in harms way?

It wasn't an issue for Pendulum Wars because it wasn't a war on the same scale as the Human-Locust war.

so they have all this technology like chanisaw machineguns, flying devices, super snipers, space lasers, HGH and huge oiling rigs, but they are unable to take a womans eggs from her ovaries and artificially inseminate women? not to mention, only men can be sterile as they are the ones who fertilize the eggs......

It was hinted that they were sleeping together I'm sure, when they left the restaurant in a taxi together in one of the books. It has been awhile since I read them so it could be me remembering wrongly.
