I'd volunteer, unless someone else wants to helm it. I just want to know if anyone's interested in actually doing it. I know we have terrible records of actually FOLLOWING THROUGH with our plans. I mean, look at Project Alpha? :/

Croswynd and Skorge are the closest things we got to leaders. I bet the last leader the writing community had, if it ever had one, probably talked with Cros personally.

I could helm it, if people could take the time to "meet up" at specific times decided by the group. It'd be like a D&D group, basically, so it's possible to do. I had planned on doing it similarly with another project, but the people couldn't make it. Timing is a big factor of how these will succeed or not, especially with the timezones all of us live in.

Otherwise, it'd just be another RP, which isn't a bad thing.

I didn't intend it to be an RP. Each member has a say in what goes in, and can write into it whenever they wish. That way even if we can't all be around at the same time once we've started, whoever IS around can continue, and leave it off for whoever next shows up.

That leads me to believe it'd probably end up a comedy, what with the minds we have and the writing style of it. Something more serious would require a lot more collaboration and team work than what I had in mind. I'm taking the easier route than requiring everyone to be there.

RP's have terrible records here. The last one we tried....died. Horribly. And Survivors, while you think it looks awesome, took 6-7 months because interest waned. We can try, sure, but I'm not terribly optimistic about it.

Four members sounds good for a start. Four, after all, is the traditional fire-team and the original squad number for Gears. So we got myself, Grub, and possibly Cros. Maybe we can loop in SKORGE somewhere in their too. Since I'm on Summer Break, I'm more than capable of getting up in the morning and playing throughout the day.

Bacon, you should seriously post a short if you ever feel like it. Trust me, I bet you're a better writer than you think. One published author started here, two or three are now looking to get published and a whole batch of them improved their writing overall by simply posting short stories or full-fledged fictions.

I'm currently brainstorming some ideas for short stories, at the moment. I can't say when i'll actually post it, seeing as I haven't even started writing yet, but I'm shooting for the next month or so.
