Hello, and welcome to the Fan Fic Writers Support Group.

First off, for those who don't know what exactly a Fan Fic is, here's a quick explanation. A Fan Fic is basically a story written by a fan of a particular videogame, movie or TV Show. Since we're fans of Gears Of War, the stories we're dealing with are set in the Gears Of War universe. Ever had an idea or theory about Gears and wondered about the best way to share it with fellow Gearheads? Well creating a Fan Fic is a good way to explore those ideas and theories.

So now you're probably wondering what is the Fan Fic Writers Support Group?

Well, we're just a group of members at the Epic Games Forums who want to help and support the Fan Fic community here. We want to encourage fans to express themselves and explore their creativity. And we're asking for other members to join us and further that goal. Even if you're not ready or interested in writing your own stories just yet, you can help in other ways, by reading and posting comments on Fan Fics, by helping people with questions about the Gears universe, and of course... by adding this to your sig!

Yeah, there's a five line limit for sigs, and apparently no over sized text either. Heck, I dunno...

Yeah, just take out the first line that's all bright white, and you should be good. And EPIC won't growl at you either.

I have a Pesanga character from that Into Hell We Go fanfic series that I never finished. Machete and boltok-wielding little ball-puncher from hell. Pong Yunin (pronounced Pau-ung Yuh-nihn).

Just thought I'd tell you guys. There's not near enough Pesangas, in my opinion.

I drew him once... but it was crappy and with pen on lined paper. I'll draw him real quick, hang on.

I'll have to scan it, which means LOOOOONG wait time. Like... 30 minutes if I started now.

That can wait, I was watching an artist drawing LIVE from Canada anyway. Wouldn't have gotten any writing done, but drawing was easy.

Originally going to be a pencil gesture drawing... then I wanted to ink it... It got out of control and took away my Commision time!

But that wouldn't be a good thing, because it's a piece of junk that I'm using while I wait for my new one to get back from Ye Olde Repair Shoppe. Which is taking FOREVER.

Haha, it might happen again for a week next month.

I've been thinking about stopping writing 'Inside the Steel Gates of Haven' because the inspiration has stopped. Should I stop and edit the whole thing until I can write it again, or push through?

Edit first, maybe your Inspiration will come back? Wouldn't want you to post chapters you really don't want to write now would I?

Yeah, you must enjoy writing it, if you expect to bring out YOUR talent, and your writing. I dropped my old Pendulum Stories entry because I didn't feel good about writing it. It just didn't feel like it was my writing. So I dropped it, and just got a new idea for one.

Yeah and he seemed to have been enjoying that one a lot. So again, Edit first, and that way, rereading your fiction might help you get that craving to write back. Maybe even give you some awesome ideas?

You won't know until you try, and if not, then you'll have to just wait it out. It'll come back, read a few fictions here and there. That always helps.
