Weird (connection?) problem, please help

Please give me some suggestions!

I`ve searched the forum, but no post has come up with a solution that I know of.

When starting up the game, it sort of hangs a lot, during logging on and when browsing the menus. Especially bad when trying to refresh servers. After a long while some servers appear with ping 2500.

I thought first this is a firewall issue, but I`ve disabled the firewall. Got no problems with router and modem. Using Eset Smart Security w/firewall that is disabled.

Have a feeling that this is a software-problem, but got no clue. The funny thing is that the game worked perfectly a week ago. Didn`t install any dodgy software or new hardware. Tried reinstalling the game, no luck.

I`ve latest patch 2.1 and the Titan pack, latest drivers for the Asus 4850 board.

PC is a core 2 duo E6700 with Win Vista ultimate 32 bit, 3 (4) GB RAM.
