Big problem

I've got a huge problem! My family and I just arrived in London from the states and we are going to be here for a few weeks. I brought my laptop (duh!) and gears pc with me, but when we were all settled in my Gears disc wasn't working. Everytime I put it in I would recieve the following message... C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\binaries\wargame-g4wlive.exe: You cannot run the game with modified executable code. Please reinstall the game. I want to be able to play on this trip so I was wondering: 1) Is there anything I can do to not unistall it because I didn't bring the case with me 2) Will a UK Gears pc work on my laptop if worst comes to worst. Thanks guys

why do you need the case to uninstall it? you have the disk(s) right?
and i would think a UK gears would work as it isnt any different, just in a different country.

Im from the UK and yeh a gears disc from here will work on your laptop. i bought 2 games from the states and they work on mine. i don't think it really matter where the game comes from tbh. but if it says that you can't play it unless you uninstall and then reinstall sorry.
