Unhappy Gears of War PC - GFWL Connection issues

    Hi,
I bought GoW 1 game a few days before as I bought a new PC and wanna play the game for a long time ...but it seems to be Games for Windows type ... so initially it asked for GFW Live client to be installed ...I downloaded and installed the latest version 2 days before ...

When I login through that Windows client it logins perfectly without any issues, but inside the game I'm not able to login. I followed the following procedures but in vain

    1) Forwarded the ports 53, 80, 88, 2074, 3074, 443 for both TCP and UDP in my Beetel 220BXI modem + router ( Airtel India connection - 1 Mbps )
    2) Turned off Windows Firewall
    3) Performed a clean reboot procedure ( Selective startup and removing non Microsoft services )
    4) Enabled SSL 2.0 in IE

    but nothing happened

Inside windows LIVE client just says the service is unavailable or there's some problem with my network equipment or firewall... and I checked all those things ...they're fine

    My current system config
    Processor : Core i7 965
Motherboard : Asus Rampage II Extreme
    RAM: 12 GB DDR3 1600 MHz
    OS: Vista Ultimate 64
Video Card : Nvidia GTX 295 with 186.18 driver
    Antivirus : avast Home Edition

What could be the problem ...Please help. If you need any more info lemme know ...

    Thanks,
    Karthik R
