Hint for ink grenades

Hi everybody,

I just want to tell everyone something about the ink grenades.
When a person in your team throws an ink it doesn't hurt you!
It only hurts the person that threw the grenade.

So if you play annex and a player throws an ink in the circle, capture
the annex and please don't stand around waiting for the smoke to go away!!
I've seen this happen too often.

So if you encounter an attack with an ink grenade during gameplay, check if the smoke hurts you (you'll notice it

) and if it doesn't, run through it.

i already knew this since gow2 came out and it was easy to notice ink damage me or not. I just don't stand out and goes, "Ohhh look at that purple butterflies cloud"

lol @ ppl not really reading the post. It does happen and it is stupid, but what bothers me even more is some ppl even fail to realize you have to actually capture zones to have a shot at winning an annex game. Waaaay too many ppl just go around searching for power weapons and are just happy to get some kills far away from the zone. But don't expect them to actually try to capture a zone... they probably count on some1 else to do that 4 them. And i always end up being that person. Thanks losers!

Today it was again so far. I've cleaned the circle out with an ink. 4 players are standing outside the circle waiting for the smoke to go away. IT DOESN'T HURT YOU IF IT'S AN INK FROM YOUR OWN TEAM !!!

I like how a bunch of people are just abusing a guy who was just passing on a tip to players who may have been unaware of a detail that could be critical to winning a match. Though the only reasons I can think of for someone not running in is that they are scared of what may be lying within, since you can't see as well. Or they didn't bother to get somewhat close to see if they'd take damage, proving it friendly or unfriendly.

Back in the days when smoke knocked you over, people on my team would jump out of the annex spot when I threw a smoke at them :/ Bet they were pissed at me for doing it but in my mind it was a good tactic (providing my team didn't scatter also)

True. But that is why XP is good. Players want that extra 200 points. I do, and I'll hop in the hula hoop if possible...

I think everyone knows Friendly Fire is not in ranked matches so Ink Grenades won't hurt you.

yeah i wish everybody knew that to, on jacinto id trow an ink into the boltak spawn for the annex and i see my entire team just standing outside waiting, when i see and in cloud i walk in just a little to see if it starts to damage me,if it does i jump out, if it doesnt, then i keep on my way, if everybody has mic's just ask if the ink is friendly or not, or when you throw it just let everybody know where you threw it and let them know its ok to go into it
