Bots As Leader.

Epic can u pls stop bots from having the ability to become leader in guardian. Becos they suck, i dont Like quitting but if bots keep becoming leader then im gonna have to quit. its moronic the way they charge the enemy and that also means we get killed too as we have to chase him in order to protect him. or at least tweak the ai so it knows how to play.

I hate when a bot is leader. It's an automatic loss.

That may be so,but what, you expect to be the leader all the time? Even when you lose? Epic was just trying to give us what it will be like when we go online. Sure it's an automatic lose,but it's better than justt being the leader all the time,such as everyone coming after you.And yeah maybe tweaking it would be good,like give it the smarts of a real player. Maybe even make it so they follow their teammates (us).

Bots are retarded in this game anyways. Quitting has already been effectively discouraged.

quitting discouraged? ha, good one. i see ppl quit all the time after a bot has died about 1 min after he becomes leader. still lots of quitting going on as far as i can see.

they should give the bot leader a new tactic that makes it stay away from the opposing team, as they are now bot leaders may as well sprint into battle with a big neon sign that says "please blow the living s*** out of me!"

Wait, wait, wait...

Players only become the Leader if they get the most amount of kills/points in that round; bots wouldn't become Leaders in the first place unless they were performing better than you...

wrong, if the bot kills the leader he becomes the leader.

My team actually won a round with a bot as leader once. It was amazing luck, and I never want it to happen again. Bots shouldn't be leaders.

I agree. Having a bot play any important role on a team means certain death. I would like to add that bots should not pick up power weapons if there is any human on their team within a certain (fairly large) radius and that bots in submission should be programmed to go straight to the objective with the meatflag. Played a game yesterday where a meatflag holding bot started moving in the opposite direction of the objective, hunting down the only living member of the opposite team while we had three people still alive guarding the bot. I like the bots taking up positions where people quit and all but they should always come second to an actual human who has reasoning ability as this is a Strategy game.

Its your fault the bot is the best person on your team. If you can kill their leader, you become the leader. If the bot kills the leader, it deserves to become the leader.

wrong, many a time ive had the leader down and am about to execute him when lo and behold the bot takes him as a meatshield. bot doesnt have to be best player to become leader, just a steal at the right moment dooms u. so think b4 u post.

Bots have no strategy, so it is extrememly frustrating for me. (When I play Gardian)

Bot leaders should at least have a change in AI, that is, if Epic doesn't have the brains to stop them from becoming leader in the first place.

Most bot tactics usually are 'Shoot now, shoot again, shoot some more, then when everyone's dead, try to ask a question or two'.

But I wuv bots and they're stupid ways :3
