I posted a few days ago that I lost all some of my achievements and my online level when switching to a new Xbox... I resigned and start building my level again and then last week when I turned my game on and tried a linked match, I saw that my level was not only removed, this time all the GOW2 update info was gone (At least this is my theory since the ranking system was in "bars" instead of numbers; like if I hadn't made any update).

Actually the game asked me to update, and when i went online, guess what? back to level 1 and some achievements gone again....

And the Epic people doesn't give a $#!=

Eh your achievements are saved to your gamertag they a Title update for gears wouldn't touch that data let alone cause it to disappear?

Indeed, my achievements are still safe and sound in my gamertag, but if i look for them IN THE GAME, some of them are gone. what worries me about this is that I had almost completed some achievements (like beating horde to level 10 in all snowblidn maps, I needed only one map to go) and now I have to start them all over again, or since im level 1 again, there are some achievements that are related to the level you are; and now I have to level up from 0 again and again

I'm really having trouble to find a match in GOW2 in GOW1 No problemo games quick and all the time... Since the damn UPDATE! i can't play GOW2 online. It's very annoying that it won't find any matches... So i bought a game that i can't even play online on? And all the maps that i bought just for nothing... its very irrating.. when you cant play a game online.. I used to get a match instanly ,since the update it went all wrong.. Damn EPIC what ya up to? I notice that alot of people encounter this as well,followed there advice and checking if everything is set up right. I have still the same problem like most of them,I just can't play GOW2 multiplayer... So whats up with that? Can you maybe help me out... even let my 360 on for 2 hours or so and still it didnt found any matches.. and yes my nat is open,and my firewall isnt restricted.. so everything is fine,exept that i just can't play GOW2 multiplayer... any thoughs? Help perhaps? T__T

Yes, there is a way to win Golden Lancers but unfortunately Epic have ran out of codes for the Golden Hammerburst so they're not available any more.

I have gone on last week and my rank was reset and progress on the journal for certain achievements have been reset. Now obviously I have got all my achievements so I'm not too bothered about that, however, all I wanted to know was with rumours of people unlocking something cool on gow3 if they have their wings, does this mean I would have to get them all over again or will it read my stats/achievements and see that I had already obtained them?

Any official response from epic would be much appreciated as I have email support on this forum and been directed to microsoft support who told me it has nothing to do with them.

Hi, you're not to worry as it has already been stated that Gears 3 scans your achievements for the unlockable content. You don't even need a save game of Gears 2 on your console. There are several places on the forums that state this, although I can't find them for you at the moment as I am out of my office and replying on my phone.....try the Gears 3 FAQ on the Gears 3 forum

How about fixing Gears 2 BEFORE releasing yet another problem plagued game. One shots, aim bots, intentional lagging AFTER the match starts, Jumping behind a player and having him shoot in the opposite direction a full second AFTER I STAND UP behind him and getting one shot, getting one shot by shotty from across the map, 3 or four lancer/hammerburst shots putting people down, special weapons ranges varying by match or being "glitched" into buildings, the boltok popping heads from one side of Jacinto to the other is absurd and I don't care about explainations of this and that it just can't happen, if someone on the opposing team is near spawn and the other spawn is clear they should spawn there not behind players trying to vacate spawn, cover isn't really cover people shoot right through it. Horde is nearly impossible to complete 50 waves because of spawning behind or around players-not only health increased but weapons power increases each 10 waves?-perfect aim means dodge roll is ineffective at reducing damage-your AI holds 3 and 4 bots back near the end of the wave to rush individuals to overwhelm them......

I love the game, but I would like a chance from time to time to enjoy it as well. The list above are only a couple of things that need to be addressed, but I am sure will not be. Why write 500- a million lines of code when your next game is to be released shortly. I won't be buying it right away though. You have to prove the game to me first, which is why I laughed at people who bought bulletstorm just for the chance to play Gears 3 beta on a dedicated server, uh but just for a few days. You went right back to the migrating host. So, can we trust you? Can you not put in a couple of days to fix the obvious problems with the one you have out to prove you are behind the fans who play it daily?

I figured someone would bring out connections. Read my post again, a little slower this time. Lagging would PREVENT me from completely standing behind someone else, as they shoot in the opposite direction. I should have been killed IN THE ROLL, not standing behind them turning and trying to fire. THEIR LAG is what causes this to occur since I am already standing and trying to shoot. It shouldn't be an issue to begin with if Epic had done their job about host, intentional lag, mod/hack/aim bots etc....... Microsoft is attempting to clean up the mods/aim bots/hacks, but the games need to adapt as well. I am not going to invest in a 100 mps system just to play a video game when it isn't necessary to begin with. I also DO NOT USE any hacks or mods to cheat in making my shots hotter, or more accurate.

I Know that I'm not the only one who has experienced this problem but has epic made any progress to fixing peoples Mp stats on GOW 2. Cause mine along with my horde stats for certain achievements (Blood in the sand and Annex with Execution rules) as well were reset just this week, July 15 2011. which sucks cause i was at rank 53( almost 54). I Dont use Hacks of any sort.

When is the tickers only in horde going to end? I can't get the "Is it hot in here or is that just you" achievement until horde is back to normal, because i need to flame bloodmounts.

No, it is not against the rules to boost, however it is frowned upon by the community because some people consider it essentially cheating because they earned it the way you are supposed to.

You will not be banned and your account will be fine.

In solo campaign on Hardcore level Dom and are at at the end of the "Answers" level where we have to fight 2 Beast Riders, a load of Wretches, the Theron Guards, a few grubs, and the Big lad with the Chain Gun, and Dom just takes cover and stays there leaving me to do all the fighting. Have I accidentally put him on defensive mode, and if so how do I get him to fight. Any suggestions would be gratefully received, because I'm tired of getting my ass kicked.

I have a problem with a code for Gears of War 2 Xbox Live 48 hours, because when I try to redeem on the console or Xbox Live page I get an error, I contacted technical support and they tell me xobx in the simulator with the code appears fine, however do not understand why I can not redeem the code, the solution is that I get in contact with EpicGames.
