I do have one question not on this list. I have collected all the collectibles according to the Strategy Guide. However, according to my war journal, I am missing the COG Tags in Act V: Chapter 4. Anyone know where I can find them? Why is there a difference between the two? Much Appreciated.

I have found a resolution. The COG Tags are actually the Tags in the previous chapter. Make sure you collect these as stated.

Is this true? I thought if the achievments are on your hardrive you should be able to use the characters you unlocked even when your not online.

Can anyone help me with a Co Op problem. I want the "Friends with Benefits" achievement, and I'm pretty sure I've done every chapter on Co Op now (I even went through with friends from start to finish on every chapter, although I have missed out the Act Denizens because I am pretty sure I've done them on Co Op and wanted to just be sure of something before I do them all again).

So basically, if you do the Co Op levels with loads of different people, in all different save slots, do they still count towards the achievement (say if you done Act 1-2 on save slot 1, 2-4 on Slot 2 and then save over the progress on Slot 1 with Act 5?). Does it all add up or do I have to do it in one save slot in the right order?

If you play private matches you don't gain any experience toward your rank. You have to play public matches and then you get experience based on how many points you score in the match. Each gametype has its own ratio of points to experience.

To expand on that, only public MP matches. Public horde doesn't count.

What does your rank look like? Sounds like you haven't updated with TU3 for some reason. Unless you do mean experience ranks.

Hey i have a major problem here, I go to play any of the game choices other than wingman or hordes an it states that there are too many party members when its just me :S
I want to be able to play online etc.

alls i have to is GL with sellin that new map pack epic seriously aint even worth it with the amount of crap lag everyone has to deal with maybe microsoft should get some dedicated servers up or somthing, maybe = the dmg on none host shotguns and make it more powerful i dunno but false realsed information was bull Sh^t no more host in GOW2 total piss A$$ lie. screw the glitch fixing, the lag is what needs to be done lag is what lets all the people do the glitching

And as it was stated before the game came out no host in Gow2 if that were true there wouldnt be poor a$$ connections to be laged out switch the high MS to 100 most normal games u would play on the internet would be between 45-100

Well basically the game is now S H I T
Sicne The Oldskool weekend i havent been able to play it properly on multiplayer, i mean.. people hitting you even though your round corners... torque killing you even though they dont go into you... boomshots killing you without even hitting you... W t f ! Used to be my favourite game now it bores me Sucks

Could be lag, or maybe someone with a good angle? Also, some cover is destructible... EX: the pillars on Blood Drive. Sometimes you can get hit if some of the cover is blown away.

I don't know man. Never seen that happen before.

Usually, if you unlock the achievements with one Gamertag on Gears or War 1. Then you go to the lobby in Gears of War 2, already signed in with the same Gamertag, the characters will unlock on the right side of the screen.

Make sure you're signed in on live, insert Gears 1, go to menu, eject disk, and insert Gears 2.

Could also be a cache deletion problem, which becomes more complicated...
