When you delete the Hard Drive cache, do you still lose your rank, or has this been fixed?

I don't really care too much... I wanted to get rid of the cache so I could glitch Oblivion, which, honestly, is more important. I never play Gears, not worth the lag. How hard would it be to hotfix the game and make it not save to the cache?

Btw, cache glitch should be in FAQ.

Maybe you should take this off the FAQ since I signed up for this on xbox.com I believe in December and have not received anything yet. Why am I not allowed to have a poll about a Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta? I posted two, the first got deleted without any explanation, the second got deleted and the admin/mod left a rather sarcastic/rude comment about me thinking I was above forum rules.

Just a quick question that does not seem to be getting answered, will there be any more tweaks or anything that will reduce the Latency in the game, there are a lot of threads on the issue but none seem to be answered by anyone, can you comment on this or not?

It would be nice to hear something from you guys so people can at least know whats happening.

i have a few questions...im not complaining just curious

why does the mortar go through the roof in pavilion? (not at the spawn point there r windows in the ceiling, but above the grenades)

is the chainsaw flinching 2-3 seconds (without lag) after getting shot gonna be fixed?

and also there is a glitch that needs to be fixed, shooting one last shot with the shotgun AFTER getting downed, i knew about it but i was gibbed by a downed opponent today and i think it should definitely be fixed becuz it can definitely be taken advantage of

...but could you please answer me this one question.....

Others have asked above, but I would really like to know if deleting your xbox's hard drive cache deletes your multiplayer rank?

My hard drive sometimes gets 'clunky' and slow and deleting the cache stops it from messing up. I have only ever deleted the cache twice before, but it helped solve my hard drive slowdown probs immediately. However, if I run the risk of losing my rank (I am currently rank 50), I think my head would explode

I would appreciate your input on this

Flak - thanks for pointing me here on my other issue. While I'm here - is there anything that can be done in TU4 to address the "people" who will sit there and drag a submission game on for hours while they continually capture, drop, down the meatflag? It happened to me for the first time last night (thankfully, my connection died 1/2 hour into the match). I've heard of similar tactics in Annex & Guardian - just trying to pad stats and causing those of us that don't want a quit penalty to suffer through (or pull our connection).

A time limit wouldn't necessarily work because then you'd just get coninual draws and nothing would be fixed - but I'd like to see some thought put into a way to stop people from exploiting this. My thought - let's make it so that the person who is holding the meatflag cannot drop the meatflag - it has to be shot away by the enemy. Of course, that doesn't help the Annex/Guardian exploits - but it's a thought.

Just turn your xbox on and it should start downloading; assuming you redeemed it using the same account that you use on the 360.

You can click at the top where it says Gears of War not Gears of War 2. Try the search button top somewhat right. It's a little difficult with all the Gears 2 threads. Good Luck.........

Are there plans to open up unranked games? Since it would hugely improve the game experience by bypassing all the lagging games and being able to choose non laggy games and making new gears friends

They have not announced it at this time.
