Heard people mention this happening in Halo 3 but haven't personally had it happen to me.

I they getting hacked or just sending those messages because on facebook if someone sends you a message like "a funny video is on here" it means they are getting hacked
LOL are people really that stupid? You get sh*t all for sending 900(ms symbol) its just some sh*tty joke made up by someone or website, i got so many from people last night... they actually think they will get points... my god.
Are people really that dense? come on... wisen up... free microsoft point hahahah!
......microsoft giving FREE points......
Winners never quit. Quitters never win. This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time.
Actually you're wrong. I got one today, and I asked my friend what did he mean. He told me that if they send that to enough friends on their list they'll get free Microsoft points.
Sounds stupid, but that's the story. (He also doesn't play xbox much, so he's really gullible about things like that.)
So make sure you're 100% with your facts before you call people stooges and dense lol.
If at first you don't succeed, whip out your gun and blow everyone's head off until you do.
Maulers are bad asses. No seriously, don't piss one off... er... more off.
-Explosive Flail FTW-
Its true, you dont get any my friends send it too

Recieved em yesterday eve aswell, just a duo in wingman who send em one after the other. Prob just spam coz me and my m8 bashed em big time:P. we both replyed em but there was no answering... also one or both the well know lvl 100...
I recieved about 20 yesterday. It's so funny how many idiots exist on Xbox Live. Why would Microsoft create a system that abuses the message system on LIVE and annoys people? Then there's this:
What that website will tend to do, is give a small select number of people codes for points. Those people will then run to their friends going OMG I GOT FREE POINTS HERE - DO THIS THING. People trust them, they take their word for it.lol i got 5 of those messages on halo today. The websites www.freemicrosoftpoints.tk Whoever falls for that pretty much fails.
99.99% will get nothing. This is a fake system. Don't believe it. In fact, I might see if Flak or someone can post a sticky on this so people don't start going "IT'S REAL STFU" or anything en masse. It isn't real.
It never hurt anybody trying though did it? I sent them because I thought "**** it, it takes 5 minutes to do".
A really good friend of mine sent me this msg saying 900points, i replied "oh" & that was it...Im sure she would'nt scam me ?
Current Rank: 52
No but it really doesn't help to send it out though as it just makes it spread. Surely logically you thought there's no way it was true? In future, check Xbox.com for an advertisement about such an offer.
It's not she's trying to scam you. She's fallen for the scam, and believes it. She's just doing the thing that she thinks will get her 900 points thats all.A really good friend of mine sent me this msg saying 900points, i replied "oh" & that was it...Im sure she would'nt scam me ?
Who cares if it spreads though? I don't.No but it really doesn't help to send it out though as it just makes it spread. Surely logically you thought there's no way it was true? In future, check Xbox.com for an advertisement about such an offer.
