So where do I get COG Tags?

I didn't really feel like reading through all the threads, so I'll just ask here. Are these COG tags just randomly scattered across cities or on they on sale or something? Where exactly do you get them?

Promotional COG Tags can be bought on ebay.

If you're talking about the Last Day COG Tag thing, that's way done and over with. You can buy some on ebay I believe though.

There are only a 1,000 or so of these, and trust me they are priceless to those who found them or recieved them. We worked hard to find em.

That one is a solid aluminum 6 inch COG tag with it's own unique CSID # ( Coalition Soldier Identification Number ). They unlocked stuff from the Last Day site, we had a lot of fun searching for them, and I had a lot of fun giving people the locations to find them.

yeah it was pretty fun, and when we got the cryptic messages from Six we were going nuts. if the department store employees didnt keep the six inch one i might of had one(bastards). i have 2 sets of the little one one from the locust headshot drone from amazon (i bought 2 of them,one is s.i.b) the other i won from a community playdate

It was a Pre-release Event to hype up people for the game. It began in September I think and ended right before the game came out. There are some still tagged MIA and the Drexel MIA tag was just found recently.

Mine was sent to me by our old Community Manager Six Okay, but I didn't accept it until after the campaign was over. The people involved in the search requested that I be sent one for all the work I put in. It was really an honor.

Congrats, it's always nice to be rewarded for such hard work. Even for a trophy like that, I think it's awesome. Wish I could have had the chance to get one .

My guess, if the event was excepted well and really followed, I wouldn't be surprised if they did that kind of promotion again.

Not really, Epic designed one as a collectable in the game, a picture and decent craftsman could fashion one. Though a jeweler would be awesome

None have been made, but they would be cool to see if someone can make them. If I ever get around to learning to weld I try to make some.

It's been a while since I've posted here, but for people who are with the pure reward scheme which HMV does in the UK, there's a chance to get a cog tag, possibly with the box, if you have the right amount of points. You'll be able to get one from the 25th.

Edit: It's 1p for every point, so it looks like it'll cost £275 worth of games, dvds etc.

Edit 2: Looks like there were only a few, or possibly one, as it looks like it's sold out.

now as i flipped through the ebay.co.uk i say that tags go 5-35 pounds so it's something really afordable

edit: although after a bit of an examination it looks like they are both made by the same company and are.. .well kinda look-a-like

and for the original hard metal tags with serial number... well though luck buddy unless you wanna pay a fortune for that... i think we can settle for the second best this time
