Fixed Huh?

Ok. First of all, There are so many things EPIC said were going to be fixed and imagine that. Theyre Not. Host bridging and stand bying were supposed to be gone. Whose fault is that.? We were all promised that it would be removed and it didnt work and from what ive heard Host bridging is not only relevant now. Its even easier and faster then before. It went from supposedly being fixed to being quicker and easier for the cheater. You know what that means.? They can host more matches and pwn more people in a smaller amount of time. In my own opinion, host bridging is not even close to as big of a problem as stand bying. Many players bridge host and thats it, they dont stand by people which is what everyone including myself is all poopy about. The one thing they did do about stand bying is they take the players experience away. Honestly? Not many players care about there sorry little number rank. Its all about the global ranking. And guess what, The points still count in the global rankings. So its not really solving a whole lot there. A second thing about that penalty is that it seems to be randomly given to players. I myself have lost all my points for matches for no apparent reason. Not only that, but it only seems to happen to me in matches where i have a very high overall score. I am nearly 100 percent positive i am not the only person that has happened to. That is horribly unfair to all who have had that happen to them. I am not saying EPIC is at fault for all of this in any way cause theyre not. But when they say they are fixing something, they should atleast do it right? Especially when its one of the biggest community problems with the game.

Another topic that i find should be discussed is the new shotgun. The first Gears Of War was a huge success for several reasons. One major reason was the shotgun. You all know if youve played The first GoW how sick it was when you dove right through someone head first. The only reason i feel that was taken out was because the people who were unable to cope, counter or learn how to do that wouldnt stop crying about it. The shotgun was one of if not the best weapons in that game. EPIC seems to have there own idea about where they want to go with the game. Which is fine but But the penalties of them removing stuff that made the first game so great seems careless and makes it look like they have 0 integrity for there own creation. In my eyes there is and never will be a better game then Gears Of War.

Yep it was fine until they updated the lancer and fixed?????? the shotgun Epic wants it to be a tactical game its not and never will be they wrecked the game by updating the lancer these dumb 180degrees turn chainsawing. When diving back u get launched back into the lancer and die. Just take it back to the start of gears of war 2 before the 1st update

I agree as well dude, they should have left the shotgun alone. I can undestand slowing rushers down with the lancer, thats not a bad idea, but downgrading the force of the shotgun stupid. It's what made Gears of War. Shot gun battles were awesome! I don't care what direction they want to take it, they're ruining it. All they have to do is bring back the shotgun to how it was, keep the slowing down of rushers with the lancer and hammerburst, have grenades concuss only when they're planted, and have a mutliplayer system setup similiar to COD4 to reduce lag and find the best host each time. What they could do to get the best results is give players more customization capabilities during private matches similiar to COD4 and see what kinds of setups are being used the most frequently and maybe include those results in the next title update.
