This was my favorite game for a long time, and I always played with both Speed freak and Super Berserk mutators on. With the new patch that is no longer possible. To get rid of it I had to delete my game data including all my mods which I had spent months collecting. Nice job ratcheting down the intensity of the game, Epic.

Is mr pants' excessive overkill available for ps3? im sure you could use that instead? Its actually better than excessive anyway !

Actually I tried using the PCspeedx mod but it still didn't work. The patch actually made it impossible to have increased speed and rapid rate of fire at the same time. I was so disgusted after I tried that that I just deleted everything.

super berserk plus pcxspeed won't work together. I told you, they've made it impossible to have fast speed and a high rate of fire at the same time. They have hamstrung then performance potential of the game. Probably to "improve" performance online. Well I want them to know I don't appreciate it, to put it mildly.

Meh tried it on mt ps3 and it doesn't work, o well not much of a loss. Someone can bake you a new superberserk fast OMGOMG mod if you really want it I guess.

I'm pretty sure this was done long before patch 2.0, I remember an identical complaint here months ago (I can't remember if it was before patch 1.2 or not). I doubt they're going to change it back.

Try usning something like excessive overkill or ridiculous and speed freak together for a similar effect.

I don't think it would work, because pcxspeed and super berserk won't work at the same time. Like I said, they have in effect put a performance cap on it. Anyway it's too late; I've already deleted everything, and I won't ever download anything from Epic again.

What was point of this thread? In the first post you say you deleted all your mods (for no logical reason), then you ignore others suggestions to help you.

Whats the quailty of frame rate with 16 people on screen all being TITANS.

I deleted my game data because it was the only way to delete the patch. And I already said my point was to let Epic know I'm pissed about it. Have you never wanted to tell someone that they've pissed you off?

Except you've been given perfectly good solutions to your problem. It's not Epic's fault you hastily erased the game and now have your tampon wedged a little too far up there. I suggest a pair of salad tongs and Mr. Pants Excessive Overkill.

no, none of that works. What don't you understand about what I've said? They in effect put a performance cap on the game so that none of these combinations of mods work together.

There is no "performance cap" in this game, I just tested it and can confirm that excessive and speed freak work. It does run slow on the PS3 at times.

If excessive is not enough for you, you are nuts.

because what they have done is obvious and I'm done with this game. I didn't post this to ask for a solution, do any of my posts sound like I'm asking for a solution? I simply posted to voice my anger with Epic for screwing up the performance of a game I used to really enjoy.

pretty much. I might play it once in a blue moon. My point is it runs better without the patch. Roadkillgrill said, "it does run slow on the PS3 at times." Well it doesn't run slow at all now that I've deleted the patch.

i guess being a console guy you are new to the whole mod/patch thing. Let me explain how it works. people make mods for a game, game developer patches game. Sometimes the mods work after a patch and sometimes they don't. It is up to the mod makers to see that their mods continue to work after a new patch. THIS IS NOT EPICS FAULT OR THEIR PROBLEM. Your anger is directed to the wrong party.
